A federal law that all new employees with the database of new federal employees within 20 days, set to be registered. Employers are required to verify dates of employment, if requested by a government agency, and often do, when calls for a new employer or potential employer to prove an employment relationship. There is no federal law that requires that deliver the ex-employer, this information. Most employers adopt the courtesy phone. I do not know the Texas Labor / Employment Law.
