Silver Dollar

125 g (4 1 / 2 ounces) flour
125 grams of buckwheat flour
300 ml (1 / 2 liters) of hot milk
1 egg
10 g (2 tsp) dry yeast
2 tablespoons corn syrup or gold (optional)
Pinch of salt
75 g (2 1 / 2 ounces) butter, melted
Icing (powdered) sugar

The yeast in a small portion of the milk. Sift
Flour with salt, make a hole in the center and pour
Yeast mixture. Stir in the middle, after addition of the remaining
Milk and later, the beaten egg and syrup. Let the mixture together to
almost three quarters of an hour in a warm place. Heat frying pan
tall, each cup of butter and pour into a small amount of mixing, filling
half.

Poffertjes cook until brown and dry on the ground. Turn
it (with a small fork or toothpick) and cook the other side. A
Poffertjes PAN is usually about a dozen, enough for one person.

Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar and a small piece of butter
the tip of the Poffertjes. Serve hot.
\\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ U0026lt;br> It does give a Poffertjes pan. It was originally an enameled
Votes (a handful) stove with a dozen small depressions
for the entire bottom of the pan.

Title: Poffertjes (traditional version)
Yield: 60 Poffertjes

Ingredients

1 / 3 cup buckwheat flour + 1 T
1 / 3 cup flour + 1 T
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon fresh yeast
3 cups hot milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon olive oil T

Instructions

Make a paste of baking ingredients.

Poffertjespan Heat over high heat. Coat all round spaces
poffertjespan in oil (or fat for frying suitable).
Do not let the fat burned.

Fill the wells with more than half of the pasta. If you take more
Mass, the results will be catastrophic and the overflow of pulp
to burn and maybe even catch fire if you do this in a gas
Stove.

See Poffertjes carefully. If the first page of the
Silver Dollar has a nice brown color, turn them with a fork. They
usually brown very quickly and after that they burn faster.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve as soon as possible with a little drunktter
or applesyrup.

This recipe can be done by a "Poffertjespan"
preferably a heavy cast iron. It is a kind of a round plate
Depression, are 1 inch deep and 4 cm in diameter.

I like pancakes, but only slightly, but I think you do lose the effect. You can try it though.

Good luck!
